What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form in addition to the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to facilitate spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (otherwise known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile image is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images that include embedded position data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any position data from the images on the website.

Cookie
We have chosen a plugin that disables cookies directly, unless you authorize otherwise as per the banner on first login.
Conversely, if you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. They are used for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter your data when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you sign in, several cookies will be set to save your login information and screen display options. Login cookies last two days and screen options cookies last one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or post an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data, but simply indicates the ID of the article you have just modified. It expires after 1 day.
Content embedded from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behave in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, integrate additional third party tracking and track your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and have logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with
How long do we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is how we can automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (except their username, which they cannot change). Website administrators may also view and modify this information.
What rights do you have to your information
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive a file exported from the site with the personal information we have about you, including the information you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal information about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments can be checked through an automatic spam detection service.
Additional information
We will do everything in our power to protect your data, which we will use exclusively for the operation of our site. We will not pass your data on to any external entity, except as necessary and only for security and non-disclosure purposes, external business purposes, etc.
